    LCPL Stanley Kay Patrick enter the United States Marine Corps from Grifton, North Carolina. He served in Vietnam until he was killed on July 29, 1967 at Quang Tri Province, South Vietnam from small arms fire.  He was assigned to Headquarters and Service Company, 2nd Battalion, 9th Marines, 3rd Marine Division. On the Vietnam Memorial in Washington, D. C., his name is on panel 24E, line 39.

His awards include the Purple Heart Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal and the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal.
