Private Preston Loftin enter the United States Army from Kinston, North Carolina. Private Loftin was a member of the 32nd Infantry Regiment, 7th Infantry Division. He was seriously wounded by the enemy in North Korea on January 31, 1953 and died of those wounds on February 3, 1953.
