Orange Gooding's home of record was Norfolk, Virginia. He was born March 3, 1928. In Vietnam he was a member of Headquarters and Headquarters Company,3rd Battalion, 8th Infantry Regiment, 4th Infantry Division. He died of a heart attack at the age of 40 on March 7, 1969 at Khanh Hoa, South Vietnam. His name is located at panel 30W, line 64 of the Vietnam Memorial in Washington, D.C.
