PFC Amos S. Eubanks was born January 2, 1923. He was drafted into Army June
21, 1944. After basic training at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He then deployed
the Philippine Islands. He served as member of Company E, 152nd Infantry
Regiment, as two and half ton truck. He transport both troops and personnel,
frequent at night and adverse roads and weather. He also served and Rifleman in
the same outfit and was engaged in many battles. He was awarded the Good Conduct
Medal, the Asiatic Pacific Service Medal with one bronze service star, the World
War Two Victory Medal and the Philippine Liberation Medal with one bronze
service star. He was honorably discharged on April 18, 1946. PFC Eubanks died
July 18, 2003.
