Staff Sergeant William Beech, Jr., upon entering the US Army on December 8,
1942, was assigned to the 4th Quartermaster Training Company. After completing
basic training he was assigned as a Staff Sergeant Supply NCO. He was honorably
discharge at Fort Mead, Maryland on February 22, 1946.
His awards include the
Good Conduct Medal, The American Theater Ribbon and the World War Two Victory
Medal.
He studied Pharmacy at Xavier University and met his future wife while there.
He managed the Family Drug Store.
